The day at Hof van Kairos starts with exclusive first-row bird concerts, which allow you to enjoy the serene, quiet atmosphere at your own pace. The beautiful surroundings offer plenty of opportunities for forest walks, cycling, swimming, or visiting museums.
Whether you explore the many sightseeing possibilities or like to read a good book in the garden, we ensure you are well taken care of. To close the day, you can join us at the campfire and enjoy the evening talks, stories, and singing.
You may participate in the optional light body & mind stretch sessions in the morning and evening, enjoing the benefits of yoga, do-in, qi gong, zumba or pilates. And who knows, maybe we can even engage in some foraging or Nine Star Ki Astrology talks together.
And most importantly.
Our team provides full daily service with 100% plant-based, organic, macrobiotic, wholesome meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), refreshing drinks, and snacks! Also, when you decide to stay away for lunch, you get a yummy lunch box to-go.

Your Tampopo Foods hosts
VENUE
Hof van Kairos is a beautiful former horticultural farm between Winterswijk (the east part of the Netherlands) and the German border.
It takes 1 hour 50 minutes by car from Amsterdam or a 15-minute drive from the train station Winterswijk.
It is the perfect venue for a "recharge your batteries" retreat.
This green oasis of peace and tranquillity is comfortably away from the busy city life and offers many possibilities for rest.
The venue's ground floor has a dining room, a leisure launch room connected to the garden, toilet facilities, and a cosy meditation room. Meditation cushions, plaids, and yoga mats are available for indoor use.
The first floor has 10 comfortable bedrooms (5x 2-person and 5x 1-person rooms), two separate toilets, a large bathroom with 4 cabin showers, and 5 washing tables.
The attic has one 4-person bedroom.
Guests in all bedrooms can use the shared bath and restrooms on the first floor and the restrooms on the ground floor.
The main building has the following four policies.

The colourful, spacious garden, full of flowers, trees, and bushes, borders a meadow and a nearby forest. There is also a large shed, an atelier barn, and many other cute sitting places to rest and enjoy the sunrise and sunset or your favourite book. Next to the dining room is a large table with chairs for outdoor dining and two fire baskets to create a vibrant atmosphere in the evening.
PROGRAM
You are welcome on the arrival day from 5:00 pm onwards. After checking into your room, dinner will be served at 6:30 pm. At 8:00 pm, we will meet for a short introduction to greet and get to know each other. We will share valuable tips, review and explain the house rules and answer your questions.
What does the daily schedule look like?
7:00 am, the soft sound bowl gong will invite you to wake up
7:30 am, morning tea
7:45 – 8:30 am, a light body & mind stretch session (optional)
8:30 – 9:30 am, breakfast
time for yourself
12:30 – 1:15 pm, lunch + afternoon snack
time for yourself
6:00 – 6:45 pm, light dinner
time for yourself
Other optional afternoon or evening activities will be announced daily.
Tips on what to do in your free time...
What can I do and see in Winterswijk and the neighbourhood? The town has loads of places worth seeing. Visit a museum, browse the market, be enchanted by nature, discover the stone quarry with pre-historic fossils, and much more. Explore it all by bike or on foot and be surprised.

On the departure day
At 7:00 am, there will be the optional body & mind session, followed by breakfast at 8:00 am. The rooms should be emptied by 10:00 am. On your departure, you will receive a light lunch to go, a warm hug, and a safe journey wish from us...;-)

We will also build a small Tampopo Foods shop for your convenience, carrying essential macrobiotic ingredients, seasonings, and comfort food.

On days when you decide to stay away for lunch, you get a yummy lunch box to go. To help us reduce our packaging footprint, please bring your favourite food containers, boxes to-go, and thermoses. Thank you!

PRICES
The prices of this holiday week are per person and include accommodation (including one set of bedsheets and towels), meals, beverages, optional light body and mind stretch sessions, final cleaning at departure, taxes, guidance, and organisation.
Prices valid for the registrations after June 15:
695 Euro, accommodation in a 2-person room
845 Euro, accommodation in a 1-person room
645 Euro, accommodation in a 4-person room
Guests in all bedrooms can use the shared bath and restrooms on the first floor and the restrooms on the ground floor.
Extra bedsheets or towel sets can be rented at the venue upon request.
However, please bring your beach towels and sheets for outdoor picnicking or swimming.
You will need to cover your travel costs and insurance, dining out, shopping, the entree for the excursions, museums, and other outdoor activities.

Note:
Your registration is only final once the full payment is received.
Exceptionally, for a special personal situation, the following Early Bird payment agreement can be communicated and arranged:
The minimum down payment is 550 euros, due before June 15.
The remaining amount should be covered before July 1.
Cancellation policy
Let us know as soon as possible if an unexpected situation prevents you from attending this holiday week. We will try to find a solution or forward your reserved place to another guest on the reservation list to prevent your losses.
Nevertheless, when booking this holiday week, you agree to the following cancellation conditions:
Cancellation received up to 1 month before the start date; the guest pays 75% of the total amount.
Cancellation received up to 2 weeks before the start date; the guest pays 100% of the total amount.
